What's Hot with Sticky Boots Right Now
Based on national influence and emailed fan submissions (THANK YOU if you sent in a request), Sticky has been selected by the editors of DJ Times Magazine to be one of only 100 DJs in the country nominated for "America's Best DJ". The contest, now in it's third year, is being sponsored by Sirius, Beatport, and Pioneer Pro DJ, and seeks to crown the top dance DJ in the country, via a national tour, club-specific promotions and online fan voting. The other 99 nominees read like a who's who of the American club scene today including Funkmaster Flex, DJ AM, DJ Skribble, Bad Boy Bill, and Moby. The online voting is taking place now thru August 8th at www.AmericasBestDJ.net and is open to any age group, but those over 18 are automatically entered into a fan contest with over $25,000 in prizes including free music downloads, Sirius Satellite Goodies, and trips to Vegas for the award ceremony and party late this summer. Please vote now and make your voice heard! (You may only vote once per email address and once per computer.) Thank you for your continued support!
Sticky's mix show, The HyperMiXx, has been experiencing rapid growth over the last 6 months and it's coverage is now literally covering sea to shining sea, as he's added stations from New York to Hawaii and even the Carribean (no pirates sadly) in the last year. The most recent additions to the list of stations includes: KissFM in Savannah, GA; The Detour in Johnson City, TN; 97.5 Power Hits in Junction City, KS; Star 106 in Mason City, IA; and Jamz 98.1 in Lihue, Hawaii on the beautiful island of Kaua'i. If you're not near one of these or Sticky's other FM stations, and don't have Sirius, you can catch his dance show rotating daily on AOL Radio too! Much respect to all the new listeners on all of these awesome stations! See the MIXSHOW page for all the details, station websites and air-times!
Online and On-Demand In addition to all the FM and Satellite stations that air Sticky's mix show, The HyperMiXx, there are several online outlets that broadcast the show as well. Especially exciting is a new site called The Real Mix Show, that has assembled some of the best dance-music DJ's in the country and posts their shows weekly for your listening pleasure. The best part is it's ON-DEMAND so you can listen whenever you want, 24/7. Sticky's partnership with the site allows him to post his newest HyperMiXx each and every week and also to connect with fans via email. Go there now at: www.TheRealMixShow.com. The Real Mix Show site will also be hosting it's first annual "Best DJ Award" starting in May. The entire month of May you'll be able to vote for your favorite DJ on the site and the results will be released to the world in June. Please make your voice heard and vote for Sticky Boots as many times as possible!
